In this morning's Bible lesson we learned that God is everywhere. The boys and girls thought this was very interesting that God can be in more than one place at one time. We then sang a song that Miss Kenna has taught us in Kindergarten Plus, "Our God is an Awesome God." The children love singing this song and using the hand motions to praise God. Ask your little one to teach you the hand motions and sing this song together.
I cannot wait for tomorrow's lesson.

Happy Ending to B Week
We have finished our third week of school well. The children are beginning to make friends. One boy this morning said, "I want to say my Bible verse with my friends." How precious is that!
"B" week was celebrated by blowing bubbles during morning playground.
I enjoyed meeting the parents at PTF on Tuesday evening and am looking forward to the fall season.
Be sure to sign up for the Heiskell School's Fall Festival. I will look forward to seeing y'all on Saturday, October 9.

Apple Turnovers in K Plus
On Friday afternoon all the Kindergarten Plus children "helped" Miss Kathy and Miss Kenna make mini apple turnovers to end our celebration of "A" week.
Miss Kenna read us a great book called, How to Make Apple Pie and See the World.
This book helps the children to learn about the ingredients needed to make an apple pie and is our introduction to traveling around the world in Kindergarten Plus. We have been busy making suitcases and passports to begin our travels in the afternoon class.

Kindergarten Rocks
I have had so much fun getting to know my new kindergarten students. We are getting adjusted to the school routine and getting all settled into the new school year.
I just love seeing the children getting excited as we begin to learn Bible verses, reading blend sounds and doing math worksheets. Did I mention cursive writing? Yes, we are learning the best posture for handwriting and starting to learn important strokes and letters.
This is A week and we have a surprise for Friday afternoon!
We have read some fun books this week.
