Each year The Heiskell School takes part in collecting nonperishable items for a family who feeds many at Thanksgiving. Make this a great family project to shop for canned goods and other nonperisable items to share this Thanksgiving.
We teach the children that Thanksgiving is a time to Give Thanks and reach out to others.
